Asynchronous machines; three-phase and single-phase asynchronous motors; construction, commissioning and performance; use; asynchronous generators. 
Synchronous machines; synchronous generators and motors.
DC generators; electromotive force generated; the starting method of generator; types of windings; dc generator commutation process; characteristics and efficiency.
DC motors; basics equations; motors with regular and parallel motion; changing the direction of rotation, the methods of braking and speed adjustment; applications of DC motors.
