Aims of the course An overview of the important achievements of physics in the last decade. Introduction to theoretical and experimental research in moren physics.
Learning outcomes Basic knowledge about the achievements in modern physics in the world and in our country.
Contents of the course
Lectures The course consists of a series of informative lectures and visits to research laboratories. Lectures (up to 10) are given by active researchers working at the Faculty, Institutes, or even abroad. The topics cover important current breakthroughs in physics. At the end of the semester, students are required to give fifteen minute seminars on a topic that has been previously determined.
Examples/ practical classes Demonstrations of some experiments will be provided in the scientific laboratories.
