NANOTUBE ELECTRONIC BANDS / ELEKTRONSKE ZONE

Symmetry assigned electronic bands of single-wall carbon nanotubes. For the chiral tube (8,2) with the line groupT1128D2=L281822 the bands are double degenerate in the interior of Brillouin zone irreducible domain, while at its edges the U-parity of the nondegenerate states is emphasized (+/-); km- (m is given at the both edges of the band kEm) and km-numbers assignation on (a) and (b).  (c) and (d): The bands of the zig-zag (10,0) and the armchair (10,10) tubes (line groupT120D10h=L2010/mcm) are four-fold (kGm,² ) or double degenerate (kEA/B0/10, ±, ¾v parity A or B given next to m); z-reversal parity (+ or -) and nondegenerate states (box) appear at the edges of the irreducible domain.

Simetrijski asignirane elektronske zone jednoslojnih karbonskih nanotuba. Za kiralnu tubu (8,2), sa linijskom grupom T1128D2=L281822, zone su dvostruko degenerisane u unutrasnjosti ireducibilnog domena Briluenove zone; na krajevima zone je oznacena U-parnost nedegenerisanih stanja (+/-). km- (m je dato na oba kra   zone kEm) i km-kvantni brojevi asignacije korisceni su na slikama (a) and (b). (c) i (d): Zone cik-cak (10,0) i sedlaste (10,10) tube (linijska grupa T120D10h=L2010/mcm) su cetvorostruko (kGm,² ) ili dvostruko degenerisane (kEA/B0/10, ±, ¾v parnost A or B je data pored m). Na krajevima domena se pojavljuju i nedegenerisana stanja (kvadrat) sa parnoscu pri z-inverziji (+/ -).
